It's Fall Y'all

Wow, school started and we went into warp speed. I have been remiss in my posting, so here goes a little catch up... Let's see, Labor Day, we went to a baseball game with friends and even got to stay late enough to see the (spectacular) fireworks display:

Soccer started for Morgan, and turns out he found his calling as goalie. He may be daydreaming when the ball is at the other end of the field, but he's not afraid to but his body in harms way to block shots when the time calls. So far his team is undefeated!

Steven came to town for ACL so it was good to have a short visit with him. He got to see Morgan's soccer match (and play a game of Twister!) and then he and I had a nice breakfast & hike one day while the kids were in school.

For Ed's birthday this year, we got VIP tickets to see Two Door Cinema Club at Stubbs. It was a beautiful night and we were able to get so close! That was definitely the way to see a show... I was surprised by how deep the lead singer's voice was compared to how high it is when he sings!

We also went to Horseshoe Bay a couple times, once with Morgan's buddy Elian and his family, and again with Tita Tisset. Other friends happened to be there that day - Rob the gifted fisherman - and more friends drove up for the day. Dean loved it when Rob reeled in a 2 lb. large-mouth bass! Tita Tisset cooked it up and we ate it the next day, yum!

I was also lucky enough to host a girls weekend at Horseshoe Bay for some of my tennis team. We played a ton, ate, drank and had the most fun clinic ever!
