Boys just wanna have fun

Crisp temperatures in the 80's led us to some outdoor fun this past weekend. Saturday, we checked out a place called Kiddie Acres, an amusement park catering to kids 10 and under. Since they had loved Funland in Rehoboth so much, we thought we'd give it a try. While it wasn't as large as Funland, it did have some cute rides, a train and the kids even played putt-putt. Morgan was starting to get a hang of putting but Dean was happy to place his ball 1 inch from the hole and putt it in. Every time. He was strutting around like he didn't need lessons : ) Morgan tried every ride, while Dean was scared of most. To think I had told Ed he was going to be our little dare devil...

 

 Sunday we checked out a fire truck Museum and the kids got to meet real fire fighters and climb on board the trucks.

In house news, the electricity and air conditioning were turned on. Hard woods and appliances were also installed. Still waiting on a date, but it's down to small stuff now. Hopefully we'll be in by November!
