Today was Dean's first day of school! He will be going every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-2:30, so it's a full day. The whole family showed him off, taking him to his classroom, meeting his teacher and braving the playground. Dean seemed shy - our usual chatterbox was not talking at all but was interested in all the toys, especially the outdoor train table. When it was time to go, we gave him a hug but he was distracted by making Thomas drive up a bridge. I was expecting tears (from him), but Morgan proved to be the difficult one as he wanted to stay and play trains!
Afterwards, we dropped off Morgan at his school. When we walked in the door at our now quiet home, Ed put on Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sounds of Silence": ) I don't know what I'm going to do with myself for the next 5 hours! Oh yeah, laundry, work out, grocery shop, pay bills, blog posts...
