Nana & P-Pop visit

Nana and P-Pop came out for a visit the first week of June. They were able to catch the boys' last day a school which included a Pre-K graduation celebration for Dean and awards presentation for Morgan. The boys had a great year at school and look forward to Kindergarten and 2nd grade next year! We spent the majority of our time at Horseshoe Bay, but they also had fun hanging out with Nana and P-Pop building legos, designing cloth napkins, playing in the backyard, and even getting Nana to play Twister and get her first "tattoo"! And of course we had some BBQ, both at Valentina's and at Black's which did not disappoint. Their visit also coincided with mine and Ed's 15th wedding anniversary so they were kind enough to babysit while Ed and I enjoyed a date at Austin Land & Cattle one night. Man, 15 years went by fast!

What was supposed to be a wash out of a week turned out to be beautiful, especially during our few days at Horseshoe Bay. Although the lake was closed so we couldn't take a boat out, we were still able to walk the grounds, play at the arcade, visit the animals, go out to eat, and go to the beach, pool and hot tub. Nana and P-Pop even fit in some well deserved relaxation time with margaritas in hand. All in all, it was great to spend time with them and the boys really enjoyed seeing their Nana and P-Pop, thanks for making the trip out!
