This Halloween, we carved pumpkins for the first time. Morgan kept it pretty simple while Dean really challenged me with quite an intricate design. We also learned that pumpkins get moldy after a couple weeks : )
The kids wanted Ed and I to dress up along with them, so taking a lead from them, we came up with:
Morgan = Ninja
Ed = Sensei
Dean = Penguin
Julie = Iceberg
We went trick or treating around the neighborhood, then hung out in the driveway handing out candy with neighbors which has kind of become a tradition. Thankfully we didn't get stuck with a big bucket of candy, however the boys managed to collect so much that it takes up a whole shelf on the pantry...
