We descended upon the beautiful grounds of the nearby Radha Madhav Dham Indian temple to partake in the annual Festival of Color. There was food, games, music and dancing, but let's face it, we were there to whack each other with colored powder. In the celebration of the coming of spring, the Indian tradition involves a simultaneous color fight where friends and strangers alike cover each other with pigmented powder. The kids loved pelting mommy and daddy and didn't freak out when people were just sliming them with color. Morgan was even chasing after strangers and sneaking up on them. You get the full picture here. In the end, our clothes were pretty much ruined, which is what we had prepared for. But what I was not prepared for was it taking 2 weeks to wash the pink out of my hair : )
