Part of the reason I've been MIA with my posts is that I've been busy prepping for my first gallery exhibit as Featured Artist at Art for the People Gallery here in Austin. I happened to stop by and talk to the owner who loved my work and had an opening in a few weeks so I got to work quick making enlargements, framing pieces and getting everything in order for the show. It opened up this past Thursday and will be up through April 18th. The gallery threw an Opening Reception on Thursday and there was a good turnout. I even sold some art! I guess I can officially call myself an Artist now! Thanks to everyone for their support and hopefully it'll be the first of many as I enter this 2nd career.
